JaYd lives and breathes music. Hailing from a small Welsh village, JaYd discovered her passion for music early on mastering the trumpet by the age of 7. The young musician taught herself how to play the guitar, piano and gifted with rhythm, joined a dance school. JaYd appeared on a French TV show which led to her securing a place in the competition final. From that moment on, her determination to succeed grew even more. Throughout her creative career, JaYd has had an unwavering devotion to all-things music. Currently, she continues to hone her innate skills and dedicates every waking hour to what makes her heart sing. JaYd’s music mirrors the artist’s spirit perfectly; happy and positive. With the music video to her first release ‘Hero’ appearing on Tv channels such as MTV, MCM, CSTAR etc JaYd tracks have also been aired by the BBC.

Her confidence grew after being asked to sing at the legendary Bob Marley’s memorial service for BBC 1 at the age of 12.
