Recorded mostly at home with raw, simple instrumentation, the album grew organically, featuring unconventional sounds—from makeshift percussion to church bells, shopping centre doors, and a Quatermass and the Pit sample approved by Hammer Films. Scrappy, joyful, and under three minutes per track, Troubled Delight turns life’s highs and lows into relatable, fun music.
