Sicky returns with “Slide”, a haunting pop-rock journey through restless nights and the struggle to find peace. “Slide” is a track taken from the album “Troubled Delight”, out via Epictronic.

Troubled Delight came together organically in late 2023, each song flowing naturally. Raw and playful, it uses found sounds—from church bells to shopping doors—and features highlights like Jen Bone’s double bass, Rebecca Butler’s vocals on Mankind, and Lily (10) and Scarlet (8) adding punk energy.
Written and produced at home by SICKY, mastered by Charlie Francis, the album is scrappy, joyful, and under three minutes per track.

Bastion Rose Unleashes Monumental Debut Album “Traces of Gold”

BLOOMINGTON, IN –Friday, November 7, 2025 – Hard rock band Bastion Rose is proud to announce that their highly anticipated full-length debut album, Traces of Gold, is OUT NOW on all streaming and retail platforms

Traces of Gold serves as the powerful follow-up to the band’s acclaimed debut EP, Fade To Blue, with both projects produced by three-time Grammy-winner David Bottrill (Tool, Rush, Godsmack). The new album is an expressive, 8-track journey that immediately establishes the band as a powerful new force in modern rock.

Traces of Gold delivers a dynamic sound that fuses the riff-centric, dark sentiment of Black Sabbath and the atmospheric scope of Pink Floyd with the rhythmic intelligence and emotional intensity of post-grunge acts like Tool and Soundgarden. Bottrill’s masterful production provides both surgical clarity and crushing sonic depth, allowing the heavy grooves to collide perfectly with the raw, bluesy vocals.

The album is a deeply personal statement of resilience and transformation. Forged from frontman Austin Frink’s experience overcoming immense personal loss and a battle with cancer, the record explores the idea that while all lives are destined to suffer, precious moments are to be found that make life worthwhile—the “Traces of Gold.” This philosophical depth has garnered early critical acclaim, with SPIN Magazine praising the sound as “an appealing combination of A Perfect Circle and Bad Company.”

The album has been preceded by four successful singles: the classic rock-monster “Wild Honey,” the cathartic epic “Atlas Slumbers,” the seductive and dark “Cinnamon Fire,” and the emotionally resonant “Humble Me.” This momentum builds on the band’s foundation, which includes over one million streams on their debut EP and features in top-tier publications, including Metal Hammer Magazine and Classic Rock Magazine.

Bastion Rose reinforces its immersive sound with a powerful visual component, creating conceptual short films for every music video, exploring themes of love and fear, chaos and seduction, and life and death. Fans are invited to experience the full journey of Traces of Gold today.

Instrumental Rock Artist JON HARRIS Presents “Entitled” (Playthrough)

Instrumental rock guitarist Jon Harris has released a new playthrough video for his track “Entitled.” The video is part of his ongoing series that puts the spotlight on his guitar work—raw, precise, and deeply expressive.
The song is a standout track from his celebrated debut album, Parallel Heart, released via Epictronic Records.

“Entitled was the first song completed for the album, and it set the tone for everything that followed,” says Jon. “At its peak, it feels like a cinematic escape — I picture myself behind the wheel of an IROC-Z, cruising the Vancouver coastline as the sun dips below the horizon. What’s unique about it is that most of the leads stay clean right up until the bridge, which was unexpected for me and gives the track a subtle, evolving tension before it finally breaks loose.”Says Jon
